Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various spaces through colour schemes, finishes, and decorative techniques. Duties
- Applying paint, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces in accordance with client specifications.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion of decorative materials.
- Interpreting design plans and colour schemes to execute decorating projects accurately.
- Operating relevant tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Managing time effectively to complete projects within designated deadlines.
- Assisting with minor construction painting tasks when required.
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the project duration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in decorating, including construction painting and finishing techniques.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record for transportation between sites.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good understanding of colour coordination and design principles.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting materials and working at heights if necessary.

Pay: £21.25-£25.00 per hour
