Overview
At Renegade Brewery, we're looking for an experienced Brewer to join our production team in Yattendon. Working a regular Monday to Friday shift, you'll play a key role in the brewing process, taking responsibility for wort production, fermentation, cellaring and filtration, while helping to maintain the high standards of quality, safety and consistency that Renegade Brewery is known for.
The Role
As a Brewer, you will:
- Manage all aspects of brewhouse operations, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, cooling and CIP processes.
- Monitor and manage fermentation, yeast pitching, harvesting and cell counts.
- Carry out cellaring operations including filtering, transfers and dry hopping.
- Complete production records and quality documentation accurately.
- Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety.
- Perform quality checks throughout the brewing process to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Assist with audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to new product development and brewery projects.
- Represent the brewery professionally at tastings, tours and trade events when required.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous brewing experience, ideally within a commercial brewery environment.
- Has a strong understanding of brewing, fermentation and cellaring processes.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality products.
- Has excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Has a strong understanding of health & safety, hygiene and quality standards.
- Can manage workloads effectively and meet production schedules.
