Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Associate to oversee daily store operations and lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your organisational talents and leadership qualities to drive sales and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. The Senior Sales will be responsible for supervising staff, managing merchandising displays/stock, opening and closing the store and maintaining operational standards across the store.
Duties
- Supervise and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure efficient store operations
- Oversee merchandising activities, including stock replenishment and visual displays, to maximise sales potential
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and store policies at all times
- Support training programmes and staff development initiatives
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvement
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales, staffing, and stock management
Skills
- Proven experience within a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock control
- Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
- Customer service excellence.
- Sound understanding of retail management systems and administrative procedures
- Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently through effective time management
- Outstanding phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and team members alike

Pay: £27,200.00-£27,800.00 per year
