Job Summary
Due to our continued growth WBES are seeking 2 skilled Electrician's to join our team, specialising in the installation, of photovoltaic solar systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical expertise and experience in installing retrofit solar installs and ventilation upgrades. Self-employed role, own van and tools needed. Must have minimum NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition & ECS card. Solar qual is desired but not essential. This is price work it is the electrical aspect only the roofs are done by another contractor.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission solar photovoltaic systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct electrical wiring, connections, and system integration for solar panel arrays.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and secure system components.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during installation and maintenance activities.
Skills
- Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of photovoltaic systems.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to solar panel mounting structures and related equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and site plans accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex installation environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
