The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them access education in a way that meets their individual needs. Students may have a range of needs including:
- Autism (ASD)
- ADHD
- SEMH
- Learning difficulties
- Complex or challenging behaviours
- Speech & Language needs
- Physical or sensory needs
We're keen to hear from candidates who:
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, social care, or support settings)
- Are confident supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
- Have a genuine passion for inclusive education
- Relevant qualifications or training (such as Teaching Assistant qualifications, SEN training, or care experience) are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
