Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV C+E Night Container Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months and its all trunk based work going to the docks/ports. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service as you transport goods efficiently and effectively and any previous container experience with twist locks or port experience is advantageous. Work is all Monday to Friday and is long term ongoing work guaranteed 5 shifts per week some permanent positions may become available as we are transporting hundreds of containers per week and work will commence starting in August of 2026 and various times are available and will be confirmed once transport is at site.
Duties
- Operate Container vehicles with twist locks going to various docks and ports on a semi distance basis. Average 2 drops per shift
- to ensure paperwork is scanned on terminal for return trailers
Experience
- Proven experience as a Driver, any container experience a distinct advantage
- A valid driving licence C+E must be held for a minimum of 12 months
- A maximum of 3 points on licence for insurance cover
- Valid Digital Tacho card
- Valid CPC Card
