An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Dental Nurse to join us at Vogue Dental Care. As Head Dental Nurse you will be working closely alongside the practice manager leading the nursing team.
This is a full time role with the occasional Saturday required.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and supervise the dental nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical excellence. This includes assigning duties, mentoring trainee dental nurses, and providing guidance to support staff.
- Clinical Duties: Assist dentists during various treatment procedures. Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Infection Control and Compliance: Implement and maintain infection control protocols in line with General Dental Council (GDC) and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. This involves managing waste, equipment upkeep, and cleaning procedures.
- Administrative Tasks: Oversee scheduling, patient records, stock control, and health & safety compliance including overseeing clinical tasks in Icomply
- Training and Development: Provide training and supervision to junior dental nurses and support staff. Participate in professional development activities and contribute to team meetings.
Skills and Qualifications
- GDC Registration: Must be a qualified dental nurse with valid GDC registration.
- Experience: Proven leadership experience in a dental practice setting, with at least two years of practical experience.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent interpersonal and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to patient care and team management.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental nursing procedures, infection control, radiography and health & safety regulations
