About the Role
Panache Pools are looking for a part-time yard and vehicle maintenance operative to work Saturday mornings at our warehouse unit at Eckland Lodge Business Park, Desborough. LE16. The hours would be 5 hours every Saturday.
Due to the nature of the work, we require an employee aged 21 and above.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and general upkeep of our fleet of vans and noting/ reporting any concerns on the vans to the manager.
- Tidying and general upkeep of the yard and warehouse which may include small repairs around the site.
- General organisation of the site.
- To carry out ad-hoc duties as directed by the manager.
- To undertake specific cleaning duties
- To note and report any necessary concerns that effect health and safety on the yard and in the warehouse.
What We’re Looking For
- Trustworthy, the role requires lone working and the role will be subject to background checks and reliable references.
- Attention to detail.
- Previous experience working in a yard or warehouse would be advantageous.
- Ability to use basic tools would be ideal.
- Previous experience in caretaking, grounds maintenance, cleaning, facilities, or a similar role (preferred but not essential).
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload using initiative and being proactive.
- A practical approach to problem solving.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors throughout the year including, use of pressure washer, cleaning equipment and some lifting.
- A basic understanding of health and safety practices.
