We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Operative to join our team, carrying out maintenance work across a range of residential properties throughout Hertfordshire.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and has good all-round property and maintenance skills. No two days are the same – one day you may be carrying out repairs and decorating, the next you could be solving a maintenance issue at another property.
We're looking for someone who can work independently, use their initiative, and get jobs completed to a high standard.
What You'll Be Doing
* General property maintenance and repairs
* Painting and decorating
* Basic plumbing repairs
* Carpentry and making good
Garden maintenance and support
* Minor tiling and plaster repairs
* Routine property inspections
* Identifying and resolving maintenance issues
* Working across multiple properties throughout Hertfordshire
* Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
What We're Looking For
* Previous maintenance, property maintenance, facilities, construction or multi-trade experience
* A practical, hands-on approach
* Good problem-solving skills
* Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Able to work independently and manage your own workload
* Good communication skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Desirable
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Experience across multiple trades
* Experience working within occupied residential or commercial properties
