Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and support staff training and development programmes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee excellent guest experiences
- Support in inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies as needed
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and service standards during busy periods
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and best practices in food production
- Experience in team management, leadership, and staff training
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving, barista duties, and general hospitality procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
