Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Bar & Experiences Manager to lead our vibrant waterside bar in Salcombe and craft memorable guest experiences. You'll lead the bar team, shape our tours and tastings, host private events, and bring fresh energy to our seasonal cocktail menu, all set in one of the most beautiful spots on the South Devon coast. We're looking for an experienced hospitality leader with a genuine passion for premium spirits, cocktails and creating guest experiences people remember long after they've left.
Salary
£28-£30k per annum + significant gratuities paid monthly.
Duties
- Lead and manage the bar team, providing training, coaching, and motivation to ensure high performance and excellent guest service
- Develop and implement creative beverage menus that reflect current trends and guest preferences
- Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, stock ordering, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, alcohol service laws, and company policies
- Foster a lively, engaging environment by curating experiences such as themed nights or special events that encourage guest interaction
- Monitor guest feedback actively to continuously improve service quality and overall satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events or promotions that enhance the guest experience
Skills
