Acomb Primary are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic class teacher for Year 6 for 3 days per week. You will be job sharing with one of our assistant headteachers, working Wednesday to Friday.
We are looking for a teacher with the potential to be an excellent classroom teacher. The role includes taking full responsibility for the class for three days, with a share of whole class and wider school responsibilities such as:

Communicating with parents
- Attending CPD including staff meetings
- Running parents’ evening meetings
- Completing assessments and examining data alongside colleagues
- Keeping classroom and shared area displays in line with school policies
- Keeping the classroom environment as a stimulating and engaging place to learn
You must be flexible, adaptable, hardworking and have a good sense of humour.
You will work as part of a phase team alongside experienced teachers.
