What if your teaching experience could help prevent violence and change the direction of a young person’s life?
At Stand Against Violence, we’re looking for more Freelance Teachers and Educators across England and Wales to deliver impactful anti-violence workshops in schools, colleges, sports clubs, and community settings. This is a flexible role that fits around supply teaching, part-time work, self-employment, or semi-retirement and it offers something many educators are looking for: the chance to have powerful conversations that stay with young people long after the lesson ends.
Our workshops are interactive, discussion-based, and rooted in lived experience. Topics include: Violence prevention, Bullying, Domestic abuse, Grooming and exploitation, Misogyny, Substance awareness, Harassment.
No two days are the same. You might deliver a single 45-minute session or spend a full day working with different groups of students hosting a number of workshops.

We’d love to hear from educators who have:
- Experience teaching KS2 and above
- Strong classroom and group management skills
- The confidence to explore sensitive and emotional topics with empathy and professionalism
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A good understanding of schools, safeguarding, and the challenges facing young people today
You’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport or have access to reliable public transport.
