We are looking for Children’s Residential Support Workers for waking night shifts, who will bring warmth, patience, and a positive presence into the lives of young people who need it most.
About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping children feel safe, valued, and understood. Every day is different, but your focus will always be the same: building trusting relationships and supporting young people to reach their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating a warm, safe, and nurturing home environment
- Supporting children with daily routines, education, and activities
- Building positive, trusting relationships
- Encouraging emotional wellbeing and personal growth
- Working as part of a close-knit, supportive team
- Following care plans and safeguarding practices
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, empathetic, and resilient nature
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- Experience in care is helpful, but not essential , the right attitude is what matters most
