Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and supervise teams to achieve organisational goals and maintain high standards of performance.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage merchandising activities to optimise product presentation and maximise sales opportunities.
- Foster a positive work environment through excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and organisational leadership.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all operational areas.
- Organise promotional events or campaigns to enhance brand visibility within the community.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience, ideally within retail or sales management sectors.
- Supervising experience with a demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Organisational skills with proficiency in administrative tasks such as reporting and record keeping.
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and team management strategies.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans that align with organisational objectives.
- Knowledge of retail operations, customer service standards, and organisational policies.
- Experience in the timber industry is essential
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
