Building Engineer
HMP Ranby - Retford
Alecto Recruitment is looking to recruit for a Building Engineer based at HMP Ranby in Retford.
This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, with a requirement to work on a rota of 1 in 4 weekends.
Job Duties
-
Ensuring availability of critical parts for statutory tasks and managing remedial tasks in the CAFM system.

Performing general and semi-skilled maintenance activities, including security systems like CCTV and alarms.

Conducting monthly checks and tests of fire extinguisher equipment, fire hydrants, and hoses.

Completing quarterly RCD testing and inspect Misting Units.

Maintaining fire doors and performing flushing and tap temperature tests as per water risk assessments.

Undertaking monthly and annual emergency lighting checks.

Checking and testing smoke vents as required.

Carrying out any other duties as required
Applicant Profile

Experienced in multiple areas of maintenance such as: Fire; Door Maintenance, Extinguisher Maintenance and Alarm Core Points
