Job Summary
We are seeking a capable Chef to join our small team in our Partick location. The ideal candidate will have relevant kitchen experience in a similar environment and work well as part of a team. This role involves managing food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are being met.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food preparation and service
- Prepare menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels, assist where order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation.
Experience
- Proven experience within a similar kitchen environment
- Good time management skills and the ability to work in a team effectively
- Solid experience in hospitality settings or busy cafe environments
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
There are both full and part time positions available ranging from 20-35 hours per week. Weekend availability is essential and working hours are from 9am until 4pm providing an excellent work life balance.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
