We are looking for an Experienced Painter & Decorator who shares our passion for quality, precision, and flawless execution to join our skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-specification interior and exterior painting and decorating across both domestic and commercial projects.
- Perform specialist timber restoration using Repair Care resin systems to repair weathered or damaged joinery.
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly, including sanding, filling, scraping, and washing down, ensuring an immaculate base for finishing.
- Apply various paint finishes, wall coverings, and specialist coatings with precision.
- Work safely and efficiently at height using ladders, towers, or scaffolding as required.
- Maintain an exceptionally clean, tidy, and organised workspace, ensuring minimal disruption to clients and protecting fixtures and furniture.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record as a professional painter and decorator (minimum 3–5 years preferred) with a diverse portfolio of domestic and commercial work.
- Specialist Skills: Certified or experienced in using Repair Care resin repair systems.
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern paints, primers, and specialised architectural coatings, including knowing which products are best suited for specific substrates.
- Tools: Must possess a full set of your own professional quality hand tools and application equipment.
- Health & Safety: Comfortable and experienced working from height. Relevant safety certifications (e.g., PASMA, IPAF, or CSCS) are advantageous.
- Attention to Detail: An eye for perfection, ensuring sharp lines, smooth finishes, and zero oversight.
- Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills when interacting with clients and team members.
- Driving License: A full, clean UK driving license is advantageous.
