The role is physically demanding and involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, so you'll need to be comfortable with a hands-on, active job. We use a modern water-fed pole system, allowing us to clean windows safely and efficiently from the ground, with minimal ladder work.
Ideal Candidate / What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in window cleaning is preferred, but not essential for candidates who can demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no penalty points and aged 21+ (for insurance purposes)
- Good awareness of health and safety practices
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Reliability and professionalism, as maintaining strong customer relationships is important to us
- Be able to travel to Mickleover each day
- Be able to work independately
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and frames using appropriate tools and equipment
- Window cleaning will be the main role but you also might get asked to do other cleaning such as, Gutter clearing, soffit and fascia cleaning and conservatory roof cleaning
- Follow a set schedule of work on a daily basis
- Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
This is an output-based role, meaning the focus is on completing your allocated workload to a high standard rather than working fixed hours. As a result, start and finish times can vary depending on the day's work, route efficiency, and weather conditions - no weekend working.
The annual earnings are equivalent to approximately £16.50 per hour, based on a 35-hour working week.
