Job Overview
We are a Porsche Specialist retailer of some 15 years and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Valeter to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are cleaned, polished, and presented to the highest standards. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain our reputation for quality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in vehicle maintenance, customer service, and operational support while working in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm with a 1 hour break per day.
Duties
- Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles inside and out, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and waxing to achieve a pristine appearance
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or imperfections and report findings promptly
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently to ensure high-quality results
- Assist with moving vehicles within the facility using safe driving practices
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including janitorial duties such as trash removal and surface cleaning
- Support customer interactions by providing friendly service and answering basic questions about vehicle care
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues
Experience
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Prior janitorial or vehicle cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy setting
- Willingness to learn new techniques for vehicle detailing and maintenance
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts
