Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing and joinery processes.
Responsibilities
- Programme using AlphaCAM from CAD drawings
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC machine.
- Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring they meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly, fitting, and finishing tasks as needed..
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in CNC programming and operation within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, tooling selection, and setup procedures.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles relevant to machining tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
