We are looking for a Chef at a busy Pub Restaurant with a major refurbishment on the horizon, to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and complies with all health & safety regulations.
You will ensure that standards are high and food is cooked, presented and served safely and efficiently. You will lead the team and be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the kitchen and contributing to the overall profitability of the operation of the site.
You will have excellent communication skills and work diligently to deliver excellent quality food. You will work well under pressure and remain calm and objective to resolve any issues which may arise.

The ideal candidate will hold Food Safety qualification level 2 and have at least 2 years previous experience at lead back of house level in the pub sector. Chef’s are expected to be present and visible in the business and therefore a requirement to work late evenings, weekends and public holidays is essential.
