Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in Chelmsford, Essex. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving growth and be responsible for developing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with GP practices and primary care healthcare professionals across the local catchment area.
The role will act as a key link between Phoenix Hospital Chelmsford and the local GP community, increasing awareness of the hospital's services, consultants and referral pathways. The post holder will support the hospital's growth strategy by proactively engaging with GP practices, identifying opportunities to improve referral pathways and ensuring GPs have clear, accurate and timely information regarding hospital services.
Your expertise will help us expand our client base and enhance our market presence, contributing significantly to our overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within GP practices & primary healthcare providers..
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market conditions.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends and client needs.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development or sales, preferably in the medical or nursing sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
