Duffryn FFrwd Manor is a privately owned Care Home which has been trading for almost 30 years. We are situated in Nantgarw, near Caerphilly & Pontypridd and just off the M4 corridor. We are looking to appoint an experienced Kitchen Porter. You will be working with a team of experienced staff in a very busy kitchen. However, if you are unexperienced full training will be provided. You need to be available to work alternative weekends.
Responsibilities:
Washing dishes and unloading the dishwasher.
Assisting with basic food preparation e.g. chopping vegetables and making sandwiches.
Making sure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy.
Assisting with the tea trolley e.g. serving hot drinks to the residents.
Assisting with the delivery of food supplies and putting stock away.
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling.
Supporting the Chefs & Cook as and when required.
You must be able to work weekends and prepared to work on Bank Holidays.
Due to the location you must be able to drive.
