Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable with physical tasks such as heavy lifting. A valid driver’s licence and previous delivery or warehouse experience are preferred.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver goods to customers promptly and accurately, ensuring all items are accounted for upon receipt
- Load and unload deliveries, often involving heavy lifting and manual handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with management regarding delivery times or any unforeseen issues
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Follow company policies on health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving or warehouse environments
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle type
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and meet deadlines
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of driving and manual loading/unloading tasks
Candidates must demonstrate a responsible attitude towards safety, possess good organisational skills, and be capable of managing physical demands associated with the role. Previous experience in commercial driving or warehouse work will be considered advantageous.

Pay: £110.00-£160.00 per day
