HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic – Heathrow Area

Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 per year (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional weekends/overtime
About the Role
Join Navajo Leasing Ltd, a leading vehicle leasing and maintenance provider based at Heathrow Airport.
We’re seeking an experienced HGV Technician / Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair HGVs and ground support equipment in our busy, well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair HGVs, trailers, and ground support vehicles
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure DVSA standards are met
- Keep accurate service records and maintain workshop safety
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Mechanic, or Fitter
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
- Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 an advantage)
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
- 5 years employment history check + clear DBS check
