Cafe and Retail Assistant required for Abbey Fine Wines, Melrose.
Working as a permanent part of our team you will be helping serve customers in our cafe/bar and will help prepare light lunches, platters and beverages. You will also be facilitating retail sales in our bottle shop.
A passion for service is preferred along with strong customer relation and communication skills and previous hospitality, barista and food preparation experience.
Your responsibilities will include - cafe/bar sales and serving, food preparation, coffee and drinks preparation, retail sales.
This is a permanent position. Part time or full time positions are available. Full time hours would range from 30 - 40+ during busier periods. Weekend (Saturday year round and also Sunday during the summer months) and occasional early evening availability essential.
As this job involves the sale of alcohol, any applicant must be over the age of 18 due to licensing restrictions.
