HGV Skip, Grab & Tipper Drivers – Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £39,000–£42,000 per annum
Location: Thornbury, BS35 3UF
We are looking for skilled, reliable and hardworking HGV Drivers to join our expanding team. Based at our Thornbury depot, you will carry out a variety of daily jobs across the Bristol area, operating either a skip, grab or tipper vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operateHGV skip, grab and tipper vehicles
- Deliver, collect and exchange skips at various customer and construction sites
- Operate grab lorries to load and collect materials safely and efficiently
- Transport and deliver materials including site spoil, aggregates, topsoil and other construction materials
- Complete daily deliveries and collections across the Bristol area
- Follow planned schedules while adapting to changing site requirements
- Communicate professionally with customers, site staff and the office team
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation
- Complete relevant paperwork and delivery/collection records
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV/LGV driving licence
- Driver CPC qualification is essential
- Experience driving skip, grab and/or tipper vehicles is preferred (Not necessary)
- Good knowledge of the Bristol and surrounding areas would be an advantage
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy daily workload
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- A flexible approach to changing schedules and customer requirements
