As a Pharmacy Assistant, you are the engine of the dispensary, directly contributing to patient safety by maintaining a seamless flow of essential medications to those who need them most.
The Impact You’ll Make

Clinical Delivery: Support the dispensing process by accurately picking, labelling, and assembling prescriptions under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist.

Technical Excellence: Manage complex stock requirements, including the receipt of deliveries, rotation of medicines, and monitoring of expiry dates to prevent wastage.

Quality & Compliance: Adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health and safety regulations to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and hygiene.

Operational Success: Facilitate efficient ward deliveries and provide frontline customer service, ensuring a professional and supportive experience for all patients and staff.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 6 months in a UK-based Pharmacy setting.

Credentials: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent) and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Logistics: Strong computer literacy for stock management systems and the ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
