Experienced MVHR Ducting Installer – High-End Residential Projects (Contract / Priced Work)
Location: Working on sites across London and the Home Counties, office in Croydon
Position: Contractor only – priced work (labour only, or labour + sundry materials)

We're growing fast and looking for ducting installers who take real pride in a clean, well-set-out install.
The Job
You'll be installing residential MVHR ducting systems on high-end homes, premium new builds, and major renovations — running and connecting ducting from the MVHR unit through to terminals, set out and finished to a standard that suits architect-designed properties.
You'll be working with both semi-rigid ducting and rigid/spiral ducting, including spiral runs, so we're after someone genuinely comfortable across both systems. Our installations should look as good as they perform — the clients we work with notice the difference between a duct run that's been thrown in and one that's been properly set out, supported, sealed and insulated.
There's a steady, year-round pipeline of this work for the right person, and we're keen to build ongoing relationships with reliable installers rather than one-off engagements.
How the Role Works (Priced Work)
This is a contractor-only role and you'll need to be comfortable pricing work:
- We'll take you on site visits and provide basic designs and specifications so you can determine your price.
- You can quote labour only, or labour + sundry materials — whichever suits you.
- We're after installers who can look at a design and a site, and give us a clear, confident price.
What You'll Be Doing
- Install residential MVHR ducting systems on high-end residential and premium projects
- Run and connect both semi-rigid (radial) and rigid/spiral ducting, including spiral work
- Set out duct routes cleanly, with proper support, airtight connections, insulation and labelling
- Connect ducting to MVHR units, plenums, valves and terminals to the supplied design/spec
- Flag variations, additional works, and improvements — your input matters and gets acted on
- Take genuine ownership of installation quality — we hold ourselves to a high standard
Working to Standards
- Install to the supplied MVHR design and manufacturer specifications (e.g. Zehnder or Vent-Axia)
- Airtight, well-supported, properly insulated ducting for compliance and performance
- Working safely on site, following health and safety throughout
What You Need As Minimum
- Proven experience installing residential MVHR ducting, comfortably delivering installs on the scale of c.75m of semi-rigid ducting or c.90m of rigid ducting, including some spiral work
- Confident setting out and finishing ducting to a high, premium-residential standard
- Comfortable pricing work from a basic design/spec and a site visit
- Contractor status and able to invoice as a subcontractor
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working at height and in tight spaces (lofts, risers, ceiling voids)
- Pride in your work and willingness to do the job properly, not just quickly
- Ability to work from a design/spec and use your own initiative
- Strong communicator — you may need to talk to clients and other trades on site
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work solo or as part of a team
