We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance FLT experience to join our depot team. This is a key role supporting the safe handling, storage and movement of wool through our warehouse operations.

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse and wool handling operations, including:
- Safely loading and unloading vehicles using FLT equipment
- Unloading and handling wool sheets on arrival
- Weighing and recording incoming wool accurately
- Preparing wool for grading and onward transport
- Moving stock around the warehouse efficiently and safely
- Carrying out coring and sampling when required
- Entering and maintaining accurate data within warehouse systems
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Supporting the wider depot team as needed
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
You’ll need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, depot, logistics or production setting
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence and practical experience operating in a working environment
- Experience handling goods, including loading/unloading and stock movement
- Confidence using basic warehouse or computer systems for data input
- A good understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good timekeeping and a reliable attendance record
- A team-focused approach and willingness to support wider tasks

Working hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day
- No weekend working
