Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and organised Credit Controller to join our busy finance team. This is a fast-paced, multitasking role where you'll be responsible for chasing outstanding payments, maintaining customer accounts, and keeping account records up to date.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, confident speaking with customers over the phone, and able to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment. Previous credit control experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. We welcome applications from candidates with administration or other office-based experience who are looking to start a career in credit control.
Duties
- Chasing outstanding customer payments by telephone and email.
- Maintaining accurate customer account records.
- Monitoring aged debt and overdue accounts.
- Processing customer payments and allocating cash.
- Keeping detailed notes of all customer contact.
- Working towards collection targets and deadlines.
- Liaising with internal departments when required.
- Prioritising workload and managing multiple accounts.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with customers.
- Carrying out general administrative duties to support the finance team.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
