Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results and a professional appearance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction painting or related fields who are committed to precision and craftsmanship. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation to different sites. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of paint or finishes
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Follow colour schemes and specifications provided by clients or project managers
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet project deadlines
- Assist in the setup and organisation of work sites to optimise efficiency and safety
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is desirable
- Strong communication skills in English for clear understanding of instructions and collaboration
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for site visits and transport purposes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail to ensure precise application of paint and finishes
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively across multiple projects
- Physical fitness to perform tasks that involve standing for long periods, climbing ladders,
