Grill & Burger Chef | Full-Time or Part-Time | £13.00–£14.00 per hour
We're looking for an experienced Grill and Burger Chef to join the kitchen team at our busy pub. If you're comfortable on the grill, take pride in consistency, and can hold your section together during a high-volume service, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
You'll be working the grill and burger section as a reliable, skilled part of the kitchen team. That means following specs carefully, maintaining quality on every cover, keeping your section clean and organised, and working well alongside the senior chefs to keep service running smoothly.
There's room to develop and take on more responsibility for the right person over time.
Day-to-day you'll be:
- Running the grill and burger section confidently during service
- Preparing food to spec and hitting the same standard consistently
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards throughout every shift
- Supporting stock checks and keeping waste to a minimum
- Communicating clearly with the wider kitchen and front-of-house team
What We're Looking For
- Solid kitchen experience, ideally on a grill or burger section
- Someone who follows specs carefully and delivers consistent results
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and a good team player
- Takes cleanliness, organisation, and food quality seriously
- Happy to support and help develop newer team members where needed
The Package
- £13.00–£14.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time approximately 40 hours per week, or part-time approximately 20 hours
