We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various machinery and tools. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain machining equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD designs to create precise components.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively for machining tasks.
- Perform grinding operations to achieve the desired finish on parts.
- Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machines effectively.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics for measurements and calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
