We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Part-Time Chef / Cook to join our team as we continue to grow and develop our new and exciting business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, takes pride in producing great food and wants to be part of a friendly, forward-thinking team.
The Role
As our Chef / Cook, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing and serving high-quality food for our customers.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a consistently high standard
- Following recipes, portion control and presentation guidelines
- Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety
- Ensuring food is prepared and stored correctly in line with food safety requirements
- Helping with menu preparation and daily specials where appropriate
- Managing stock levels and minimising food waste
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well presented
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure excellent customer service
- Following all company food safety and health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about food and enjoys cooking
- Reliable, hardworking and organised
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- Able to maintain high standards under pressure
- Friendly, positive and professional
- Committed to good food hygiene and cleanliness
- Experienced in a professional kitchen (preferred, but not essential for the right candidate)
