Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient IT Executive to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and network infrastructure. Duties
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Manage and maintain computer hardware, software applications, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Support network infrastructure including LAN, VPN, firewall configurations, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Assist with help desk operations using tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to log, track, and resolve support tickets efficiently.
- Conduct desktop support tasks such as software installation, updates, and configuration adjustments.
- Monitor system security measures to safeguard organisational data; implement updates as necessary.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve complex technical issues related to operating systems, hardware, or network components.
- Provide user training on new software applications or system features to enhance organisational productivity.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records of support activities for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support roles with a focus on desktop support and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPNs, firewalls, and operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Experience in hardware maintenance including installation and repair of computer components.
- Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in networking or IT support are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £24,420.00-£57,563.38 per year
