Andrews Pharmacy is looking to recruit a Registered Nurse / Health Care Professional to assist in COVID-19 & Influenza vaccine clinics in our Community Pharmacy in Macclesfield during Autumn 2026.
You will be working alongside other vaccinators who are part of a self-motivated and energetic team. You will help to deliver the national vaccination programmes. A clinical lead Pharmacist will be available to support you.
This is a temporary contract running from 1st October- mid December. The contract is on a zero hours basis where you provide us with your availability within the date range and we will offer as many shifts as possible.
Duties
- Provide excellent patient care
- Administer vaccines to individuals following proper medical protocols
- Maintain accurate records of vaccines administered
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions post-vaccination
- Provide information and answer questions regarding the vaccination process
- Ensure proper storage and handling of vaccines
- Vaccination of patients at on and off site clinics, as well as housebound patients
Skills
- Essential: Qualified healthcare professional (e.g., nurse, pharmacist) with valid registration
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording vaccine data
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in vaccine administration
You should have completed recent face-to-face vaccination training, and will need to complete the relevant modules on ELFH when they become available.
Pay rate:
Employed: £20 per hour
Self-Employed: £23 per hour
Pay: £20.00 per hour
