Laboratory Manager – Digital Dental Laboratory

The Role
As Laboratory Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of our state-of-the-art in-house digital laboratory, ensuring the seamless coordination of complex restorative and implant cases while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and patient care.
Our laboratory is dedicated to advanced digital workflows, including:
- Stackable guided surgery systems
- Photogrammetry workflows for full-arch implant rehabilitation
- Digital implant planning and prosthetic design
- Guided surgery from virtual planning through to final restoration
- Full-mouth rehabilitation using fully integrated digital protocols
- CAD/CAM design of implant-supported and tooth-supported restorations
You will work closely with our clinicians to ensure these technologies are delivered to the highest possible standard while supporting the continued growth and development of the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the in-house digital laboratory
- Manage case booking, scheduling, prioritisation, and workflow to ensure efficient delivery of all laboratory work
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a highly skilled team of dental technicians
- Maintain rigorous quality control systems across all laboratory output
- Coordinate complex restorative, implant, and full-arch rehabilitation cases with clinicians
- Oversee advanced digital workflows, including stackable guided surgery protocols and photogrammetry
- Optimise laboratory processes, productivity, and digital workflows
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training as the laboratory continues to expand
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, technology, and best practice
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support the strategic growth and development of the laboratory
About You
You will be an experienced Dental Technician with strong leadership qualities and a passion for digital dentistry.
You will ideally have:
- Previous laboratory management or supervisory experience
- Strong organisational and case management skills
- Extensive knowledge of digital dentistry and CAD/CAM workflows
- Experience with implant prosthetics, guided surgery, and photogrammetry workflows
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A meticulous approach to quality assurance and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement
