Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients with medication management and health monitoring as required
- Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks to promote comfort and well-being
- Build trusting relationships through empathetic communication and companionship
- Follow care plans accurately and report any changes or concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of visits and care provided
- Promote independence by encouraging clients to participate in activities suited to their abilities
Skills
- Compassionate, caring, and respectful attitude towards clients of all backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport and understand client needs
- Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Ability to work independently while following care plans closely
- Flexibility to adapt to different client requirements and schedules
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are preferred but not always essential
- Previous experience in home care or support work is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided
