Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware and work surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour and ensure compliance with licensing laws and safety regulations
- Provide friendly assistance and answer customer queries about menu items or drinks
- Support the team during busy periods, ensuring high standards of service are maintained
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, is essential
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
