Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and customizing kitchen units and cabinetry to meet client specifications. Your expertise in fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand and power tools will ensure high-quality finishes and durable installations. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances, and fixtures with precision.
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, screwdrivers, and chisels to carry out fabrication and assembly tasks efficiently.
- Operate power tools safely to modify materials and ensure accurate fitting of components.
- Perform carpentry and joinery work to create seamless cabinetry and furniture pieces.
- Conduct plumbing connections for sinks, dishwashers, and other kitchen appliances as needed.
- Carry out masonry or roofing tasks if required for structural adjustments or enhancements.
- Assist with construction painting or finishing touches to achieve a polished look.
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation processes while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met within deadlines.
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of kitchen units or similar carpentry work.
- Strong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques.
- Knowledge of roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems or related construction trades is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling and installation tasks.
- Familiarity with construction painting or finishing processes is a plus.
- Prior experience working on renovation or new build projects is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills ensures quality workmanship on every project.
