Mobile Ceramic Coating Installer / Detailer — London

Part-time, zero hours contract | £115–£200/day (commission-based, per job)
Stratton Automotive is a premium mobile car detailing and ceramic coating business, with a studio based in Bedford and now expanding our mobile operation into London. We're looking for an experienced, passionate detailer to carry out the ceramic coating and detailing jobs we book for you, a great opportunity to build strong daily earnings in one of the busiest car care markets in the country.
The role:
- Fully mobile ceramic coating, paint correction, and detailing (valeting here and there) across London, using our fully kitted-out company van
- We handle marketing, bookings, and customer contact — you turn up, deliver a five-star finish, and represent Stratton Automotive with excellent customer service
- Typically one car/customer per day — each job needs to be completed to a very high standard within the day
- You'll have freedom to manage your own day, but we do need regular communication so we're always in the loop
- Help gently promote our maintenance plans to customers while on site
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for cars and pride in doing beautiful work
- Some experience in ceramic coating and machine paint correction — a portfolio is a bonus but not required, we're happy to look at the right attitude and aptitude too
- Excellent communication, respect, and customer service — this matters as much as the technical skill
- Self-motivated and reliable — comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Genuine attention to detail and a focus on making customers happy
- Full UK driving licence, comfortable driving a small van around London
Your admin (kept minimal):
- Keep product stock ordered and topped up
- Keep the van clean and tidy
- Keep us updated on how the day's going
Pay & hours:
- £115–£200 per day, based on jobs completed
- Zero hours contract — flexible day-to-day work depending on bookings, with potential for more regular hours as demand grows
