Job Summary:
KC First Scientific Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Scientific Programmes Manager to lead and coordinate a portfolio of scientific and technical programmes. The role will bring together project priorities, specialist teams, resources, and programme objectives to ensure scientific activities remain well organised and progress effectively from planning through completion.
What You'll Do:
- Manage multiple scientific and technical programmes across the organisation
- Define programme objectives, priorities, milestones, and key activities
- Coordinate scientists, technical specialists, project teams, and external contributors
- Maintain oversight of schedules, dependencies, and programme resources
- Support the planning of laboratory, research, testing, or technical activities
- Monitor progress and address issues that could affect programme delivery
- Coordinate requirements involving equipment, facilities, materials, and specialist support
- Facilitate programme reviews and maintain clear follow-up actions
- Ensure scientific and operational information is documented appropriately
- Communicate programme developments to internal and external stakeholders
- Review completed activities and identify opportunities to strengthen future programmes
Requirements:
- Experience in scientific services, research operations, technical programmes, laboratory environments, project management, or a related field
- Strong programme and project coordination abilities
- Ability to work effectively with scientific and technical professionals
- Good planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
- Confidence managing several workstreams and changing requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working with programme schedules, technical information, and reporting tools
- Previous management or programme leadership experience is advantageous
- Scientific, technical, project management, or related qualifications are welcomed, with relevant professional experience also considered

Pay: £62,000.00 per year
