Recruitment Coordinator – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Location: Head Office, Mundells, Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £30,578 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract
Reports to: Recruitment & Head Office Training Manager
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and driven Recruitment Coordinator to manage end-to-end recruitment activity across a designated region. This is a key role within the People team, responsible for attracting, sourcing, and onboarding top talent while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
You will act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, ensuring recruitment needs are met efficiently, while also building strong talent pipelines through direct sourcing and external partnerships.
This role is ideal for someone with recruitment experience who brings a positive, “can-do” attitude and is confident thinking outside the box to deliver innovative recruitment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update job adverts across key recruitment platforms
- Source candidates and proactively build talent pipelines
- Maintain ATS records and complete all compliance checks (e.g., Right to Work)
- Support onboarding processes and coordinate new starter administration
- Advise hiring managers and respond to recruitment queries
- Partner with managers to meet hiring needs and timelines
- Build external partnerships and support recruitment events
Person Specification
- Proven experience in a recruitment or resourcing role (essential)
- Demonstrable knowledge of UK Right to Work legislation and pre-employment compliance
- Experience using job boards such as Indeed, Reed, Caterer, or similar platforms
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- A positive attitude with a proactive, “can-do” approach
- Ability to think creatively and outside the box to attract talent
