Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves delivering excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, be well-organised, and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided. All roles are paid positions, offering an opportunity to develop valuable skills within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in preparing garnishes and organising stock levels
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Clean DBS Check is required
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently
- Proven ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- A responsible approach to alcohol service and customer safety
