The Miller of Mansfield is looking for a reliable Hotel Housekeeper to join our small team in Goring-on-Thames.
The role can start with flexible part-time hours, with full-time hours expected to be available during September. After September, there may be the opportunity for regular ongoing work, but longer-term hours are not yet guaranteed.
The role
- Clean and prepare our 13 hotel bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
- Maintain clean and welcoming guest and public areas
- Replenish linen, towels and guest supplies
- Report maintenance issues and lost property promptly
- Use cleaning products safely and follow our hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Work independently while supporting the wider hotel team
Shifts usually begin in the morning and finish when the rooms and allocated cleaning work are complete. Weekend availability is important.
About you
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently
- A good eye for detail and pride in high standards
- Previous hotel or commercial cleaning experience is helpful, but not essential as training will be provided
- Able to work efficiently and communicate well with colleagues and guests
- Able to travel reliably to Goring-on-Thames for morning shifts
