Weekly Cleaning Operative
We are looking for reliable and experienced Cleaning Operatives to support regular weekly cleaning services across Westminster and surrounding areas.
The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across assigned sites while following health and safety procedures and client requirements.
Location:
Westminster and surrounding areas, London, including W2 and nearby areas
Hours:
Weekly cleaning shifts ( Days will be confirmed depending on site requirements
Expected Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and may need flexibility sometimes
Additional weekly opportunities may be available across Westminster and surrounding areas depending on site requirements and your availability.
Responsibilities
- Carry out weekly cleaning duties at assigned locations.
- Clean and maintain designated areas to a high standard.
- Vacuum, mop, and clean floors.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Clean kitchens, toilets, and communal areas.
- Empty bins and ensure waste areas are kept clean.
- Maintain hygiene standards throughout the premises.
- Replenish cleaning supplies where required.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or cleaning concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety, COSHH, and workplace cleaning procedures.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, office cleaning, residential or similar environments is preferred.
- Good understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Flexibility to work across Westminster and surrounding areas is an advantage.
- Ability to cover multiple nearby locations may lead to additional regular opportunities.
- DBS check may be required depending on the location.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
