Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and social engagement
- Support medication administration and monitor health conditions in accordance with care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social activities safely and reliably
- Manage behaviour management strategies for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's to ensure their safety and comfort
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving
- Knowledge of care best practices
- Capable of handling medication ,meal preparation, behaviour management, and light household chores ,
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently and time manage
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
