We are currently looking for a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic Nursery Lunchtime Cover Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our friendly team at St. George’s Nursery Meridian.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of a supportive and welcoming nursery during our busy lunchtime period.
Your Role
As a Nursery Lunchtime Cover Practitioner, you will:
Support children throughout the lunchtime period.
Help with meals, routines, and transitions.
Create a calm, safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Support children’s personal care needs while promoting independence.
Work closely with the wider nursery team to ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safety.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Has a caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach.
Enjoys working as part of a team.
Is reliable, proactive, and passionate about supporting young children.
Has previous nursery or childcare experience (preferred but not essential).
Salary & Working Pattern
Part-time lunchtime hours.
Salary from £12.76 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
